Dr. Aleshka Calderon
Doctor of Chiropractic
Member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association
Licensed in Georgia & Colorado
Dr. Calderon performed her undergraduate studies in
General Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras
Campus. She later received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life
University where she graduated Cum Laude.
She specializes in many types of treatments focusing on mobilization
of the joints, relaxation of the muscles and spinal structural
correction. Trigger
point therapy and proper stretching and strengthening protocols are a
few of the types of treatments used to achieve
beneficial results. Is more effective when the muscular and skeletal
systems are addressed together (as these systems do not function
independently of each other). Dr. Aleshka Calderon also believes
strongly in active care and gives her patients exercises to do at home
that complement the treatment in the office. A patient who does the
active care will get better faster than those who rely on the
treatment alone. The combination of adjustments and soft tissue
therapy is extremely effective in treating patients with both acute
and chronic pain. Her multidisciplinary approach has been proven to
yield beneficial results.
